From experience, I know that even young children know how to use the computer. Some of them come to preschool with the knowledge of what a mouse is and what it can do. They may also know how to navigate the Web to find the games that they like to play.

I babysit for a young girl and I could not believe it the first time that her mother told me that she could go on the computer and find games to play. At first, I didn't believe it. The second week that I had babysat for her, she went on the computer and found some games right away. Then I noticed how my five year old cousin could play computer games! It's amazing how much children are learning now about computers! Soon most children will know more than I do!
